Rules

(1)   From 3rd January minimum weight of cars reduces to 1350g ( was 1500g ) we are TRIALING for 3 meetings to see how we can all get our weight down on the 3rd meeting we will check all cars to see what the average weight is. Then we will all discuss whether to go with the average.

(2)   Tyres any make of SLICKS can be used providing they are pre glued and have black tread and white dish inserts (we do not run mini pins or treaded tyres). The maximum they can cost is £24.99.

(3)   Car or Leisure batteries for charging MUST be in a suitable container to prevent spill should they leak.

(4)   Everyone must be a club member to race and be covered by the BRCA insurance.

(5)   Do I have to be a member to watch, certainly not, all are welcome to spec Tate, we'll happily answer any questions you may have during the races.

(6)   What Classes do you race, we race both Brushed 27t and Brushless 13.5t motors. We strongly advise beginners start with a 27t motor.

(7)   What basic rules do I have to follow, With the exception of the brief practice session; you are not allowed to drive your car at all except during your specific race. This is because you may be running a crystal that'll clash with someone else, this never ends well. In addition, you are expected to marshal (Supervise and help crashed cars) during the race after your own. You will be penalised if you don't marshal after your race.

(8)   Batteries we use are 7.4v Li-po batteries maximum 5000mah or 7.2 C-Pack batteries.

(9)   This is just a guide to the rules a full set of rules can be found in your BRCA handbook or on their website www.BRCA.org all rules are subject to change as and when BRCA update.

I think the problem was some felt that there wasn't enough information on it. I would have like to have seen it closer to the pitting area with the race control screen displayed.
